Hall Hire

Marks Tey Parish Hall has three halls and a Council Meeting room available to hire. These halls all differ in size and capacity.

Please note the Halls are closed on Bank holidays and between Christmas and New Year.

All prices quoted below are Per Hour and inclusive of VAT @20%

Main Hall

Maximum Capacity: 120

Hire Price: Weekday £22 – Weekend £35.20

Joint hire with small hall: Weekday £30.80 – Weekend £44

Recreation Hall

Maximum Capacity: 150

Size: 60′ x 40′

No Stage

Includes: Full size kitchen/fridge/microwave facilities and urn

Hire Price: Weekday £22 – Weekend £35.20

Small Hall

Maximum Capacity: 50

Size: 34′ x 16’6″

Includes: Small Kitchen area with urn

Hire Price: Weekday £13.20 – Weekend £19.80

Council Room

Size: 26’6″ x 11’6″

Has a board room table with seating for 12 – extra chairs can be put out to hold around 18-20 people at the end of the room

HIRERS ARE EXPECTED TO SUPPLY THEIR OWN RUBBISH BAGS AND TAKE THESE AWAY AT THE END OF THE EVENING.

HIRERS SHOULD LEAVE THE HALL(S) TIDY.

CUTLERY/ CROCKERY IS NOT PROVIDED

HIRERS ALSO HAVE TO PAY A £100 DAMAGE DEPOSIT WHICH IS BANKED AND WILL BE RETURNED WITHIN 30 DAYSAFTER THE EVENT PROVIDING NO DAMAGE IS INCURRED. FOR PARTIES FOR 13-18 YEAR OLDS HIRERS WILL HAVE TO PAY A £500 DAMAGE DEPOSIT

MUSIC MUST STOP AT MIDNIGHT – NO SMOKE/BUBBLES ETC. ALLOWED IF DISCO PROVIDED.

THE HALL IS LICENSED TO BRING YOUR OWN ALCOHOL BUT NOT FOR THE SALE OF ALCOHOL – A MOBILE BAR HAS TO BE HIRED IF ALCOHOL IS TO BE SOLD. TELEPHONE NUMBERS OF REPUTABLE BAR PERSONS CAN BE SUPPLIED ON REQUEST.
